Classic and timeless Celine 100% wool black cardigan and gabardine skirt ensemble from the 1970's. The set features a cable knit and waffle v neck cardigan with gold tone metal accents. Slit pockets at the hips with chain details and beautiful gold tone and black enamel logo buttons. The pleated skirt is high waisted with a half black leather and gold chain belt like detail at waistband. Inverted top stitched pleats on the front and back. Overall A line shape. Centre back zipper with hook and eye. Lined in a corresponding black all over logo lining. 2.5" hem for alteration if needed. The cardigan is made in Italy and the skirt is made in France. Both pieces are dry clean only. Excellent vintage condition, some minor invisible mending to the wool cardigan. An iconic 1970's ensemble that has inspired the current Celine runway pieces. Overall fits like a US size 4/6.
