The Source for Sports Exclusive version of the CCM Extreme Flex E5.5 SR Goalie Catcher deliver all the same features as the catalog E5.5 with upgraded specs. These upgraded specs include; a 1” deeper Single-Tee skate lace pocket, CCM's SureGrip palm with impact-absorbing D30 Smart Foam palm protection, and exclusive colorways that are unique to the Source for Sports family. These spec upgrades respectively provide improved grip and closure, and increased impact absorption through the use of D30 Smart Foam. Pair these upgrades with the FlexMotion backhand and cuff, SpeedSkin material, and a 600 Degree break angle, the E5.5 Source Exclusive offering gives you more "bang-for-your-buck" over the catalog model.
External Material
The CCM E5.5 Catcher is wrapped in CCM’s proprietary SpeedSkin material. SpeedSkin on a blocker doesn’t have the same slide benefit as it does on pads. However, it is a lighter material than traditional Jenpro, and keeps the material consistent throughout the goalie’s entire setup.
Break Angle
The break angle of the EFlex E5.5 catch glove is 600 degrees, also known as a 75 degree break. This catch angle has a longer pocket and is more “outwards”, making it great for catching pucks away from the body. The closure of the E5.5 is less of a fingers-to-thumb type close, but instead a fingers-to-palm close; similar to rolling your hand over a roll of coins.
Pocket Design
The E-Flex E5.5 goalie glove features a double tee pocket. This double tee allows for a slightly larger pocket, along with increased puck tracking as the puck can be tracked through the gap in the tee web.
Strapping
The back hand of the CCM E5.5 trapper features velcro adjustments for the fingers, as well as the back of the hand. Goalies can also customize their fit by the quick release webbing strap on the wrist, which allows for easy and secure adjustment.
Cuff Design
The CCM E5.5 catcher features FlexMotion backhand, and a one-piece cuff. CCM’s one-piece cuff with a redesigned core allows for maximum coverage and an enhanced closure.

The Source for Sports Exclusive version of the CCM Extreme Flex E5.5 Senior Goalie Catcher offer a slight variation in color styling from the catalog E5.5 models. Colors offered in the CCM E5.5 Source Exclusive Catcher are; Boston, Chicago, Toronto, All Black, All White, White / Black, and White / Black / Silver. The E5.5 SDC Catcher is available in Regular and Full Right hands.
